The Minister responsible for telecommunications, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 11 of the Electronic Communications Act 2011, read with section 44 of the Regulatory Authority Act 2011, makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1.- These Regulations may be cited as the Electronic Communications (Regulatory Authority Fees) Regulations 2013.

Schedule of fees payable

2.-

(1) In respect of each item specified in the Schedule there shall be paid the Regulatory Authority fee specified in relation to such item.

(2) Any fee payable under paragraph (1) shall be payable to the Regulatory Authority.

Commencement

3.- These Regulations come into operation on 1 April 2013.

(Regulation 2)

FEES PAYABLE

(1) Holder of an integrated communications operating licence (“ICOL”), in respect of each twelve-month period.

(Fee to be paid by quarterly instalments in arrears. Payments shall be estimated in each quarter and shall be subject to adjustment as necessary within 6 months of the end of the relevant financial year.)

1.75% of licensee’s relevant turnover
